I’ve seen this concept on Facebook where you can post a picture a day of some aspect of your life. Starting today, I’m going to try and accomplish just that.
Here’s the first pic.
“Made s’mores today after dinner. Here’s Ethan enjoying his to the fullest extent!”
Not exactly sure where Taylor learned this from, but this was taken at Wal-Mart while shopping for Christmas gifts. I picked up a large bag of popcorn from the snack shop as we were leaving and well, the video should explain the rest…My daughter loves popcorn I guess.
I’m all about doing things in life that lead to great stories. Here’s one worth telling because I’ll never hear the end of it from those who know me. On Saturday, Sept 19, my good friends Coop, McNew, Cupp, Plunkett, Daley and Blackburn attended our annual trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan to catch a Michigan football game. Needless to say, this has become quite an event we look forward to each year for some tailgating in the morning, lots of beer, football, great food and company. Well, being that all of us are Buckeye fans (with the exception of Coop, which is the reason we get to go to the game in the first place), it never feels quite right to cheer for Big Blue. Well, this year we decided to pull a fast one on Michigan soil. We decided it would be awesome to get a picture by spelling out O-H-I-O in front of the block M at the Stadium. Now, when you combine the risk of getting your butt kicked because of what we were about to do along with being hammered, a lot of confusion and fear sets in, which can cause a guy to lose sight of where and what to do…
This first photo was our first attempt and as you can see…I was supposed to be the “I”.
The Cincinnati Bengals are finally having a year that’s been a long time coming. First place in the division and a 7-2 record going into Week 11 of the 2009 season. Clearly I attribute the team’s success to the newly appointed cheer squad. They come out in full uniform every Sunday ready to root their team on! WHO-DEY!!!!!
We had a very good time this Halloween. 2009 marks the first time Taylor experienced Trick or Treating. I walked her around our street with our next door neighbor and his son and it was everything you can imagine for a father taking their kids out on beggar’s night. We hit probably 15 houses in about an hour and then Taylor’s little legs started to get tired of all the walking. It didn’t take long for her to catch on that she was getting free candy.
Here’s Ethan as of today. He’s on the verge of taking his first steps. He can pull himself up with ease and just has that look of wanting to take off. I give a couple weeks and we’re going to have a couple of mobile ones to run after now. Taylor has been successfully going to the bathroom on the toilet lately. We’re talking about the full size ones, not the training versions either. If we’re not careful holding her, she’d fall right in.
So it has been awhile since I last posted and here’s why. My job, my kids, my home. There is not enough time in the day anymore. I am excited that I can now blog through my iPhone!
Now the bad news. I had so many good pics on my SD card and was excited to post them. Well turns out the card is corrupt and I had no way of getting the images off the card now. Stay tuned for new pics!
