Every year, I volunteer cooking chicken and grilling corn with some of my closest friends at a local high school fundraiser called AlterFest. This festival attracts thousands of people every year and the Chicken Dinner has become quite famous at the event. The event is held throughout Labor Day weekend. Quite ironically, the event raises money for a private Catholic school system by providing gambling and drinking (kinda funny – “Gambling for God” is what I’ve heard the locals call it). Below is a documentary I took this year on the chicken grilling experience. Nothing like a keg of beer, mass quantities of food, grease and fire to make a man happy!!!!!
